Uniforms and Materials

Cub Scout Uniform and Materials

Uniforms can be purchased in person at the Heard Scout Pueblo or online at the Scoutshop.org.

Class A and Class B Uniforms

There are two types of uniforms. Class A is the more formal uniform you see below. These are typically worn at Pack Meetings, Popcorn Selling, and official Scout events. Class B is our Pack T-shirts that can be ordered from the pack and are worn at outdoor activities and sometimes Den Meetings.

Pack 878 requires only the top part of the uniform (official pants or shorts are optional).

Kindergartners (Lions), First (Tigers) , Second (Wolves) , Third Graders (Bears) and Fourth Graders (Webelos 1)- Need the official Navy Uniform Shirt

We recommend buying this a bit big if you are a first grader so it will still fit through fourth grade.

5th Graders - Arrow of Light - Need the official Tan Uniform with Blue Shoulder Loops.

Neckerchief and Slides

Each New Scout will also need to get a Neckerchief and Neckercheif Slide Specific to the Scouts Rank/Den (ie. Tiger, Wolf, Bear etc.) The pack will provide them for the following years as each scout progresses in their ranks. 5th graders (Arrow of light) do not have a neckercheif or slide.

Required Patches

Not a sewer? We recommend either Badge Magic (can be purchased at the Scout Shop online) or Velcro for Arrow of Light!
